Under the patronage of His Excellency Hamish Cowell, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Oman, popular eatery wagamama has opened its doors for the first time in the Sultanate. Offering a fresh, Japanese-inspired menu, the new wagamama restaurant is located in the heart of Muscat at the Al Qurum Complex and is operated by Bin Mirza International. The opening of the restaurant was attended by more than 140 guests including the Ambassador of Japan and representatives of the South Korean Embassy, as well as VIPs and members of the media and social media.

Muscat residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes, including wagamama’s signature ramen; bowls of fragrant soup filled with noodles plus meat or vegetables. Spice enthusiasts can delight in the much-loved prawn firecracker, and for vegetarians the tofu chili salad is a fresh and crunchy treat.

The menu also boasts wagamama icons such as the chicken katsu curry; succulent chicken breast fried in golden breadcrumbs, served with the famous katsu curry sauce, rice and salad. Customers can also indulge in a light bite or snack with small plates such as gyozas or edamame beans shaken with chili and salt, alongside an extensive choice of fresh juices, desserts and beverages. A mini menu has been designed especially for kids to ensure there is something for all members of the family.
Wagamama Qurum spans over 300 square metres and caters to over 160 diners with canteen style benches, a central open kitchen and a large outdoor dining area. wagamama has more than 180 eateries across 23 countries worldwide. Regionally, wagamama has one restaurant in Bahrain, two in Qatar and two more opening soon, three in Saudi Arabia and four in the United Arab Emirates with an additional two restaurants currently under construction.
