As evening sets in, dinner at Jeema takes on a different tone with the Kinara Indian fine dining pop-up. Curated by Award-Winning Chef Vikas Khanna, the experience brings his celebrated Kinara concept to Hatta for a limited residency within the historic JA Hatta Fort Hotel. The menu leans into bold, soulful Indian flavours – aromatic curries, carefully spiced grills, and dishes that feel both refined and familiar without being overcomplicated. Set against the mountain backdrop, it’s an easy place to settle into the evening, where good food, warm hospitality, and the stillness of the surroundings come together naturally after a day outdoors. The garlic butter naan breads were perfectly prepared from the tandoor, served with a roasted tomato chicken claypot dish which tasted like an elevated rendition of a butter chicken. Absolutely delectable and fragrant, paired beautifully with a signature selection of side salsas, chutneys, and condiment embellishments to bring out the flavours in each dish.
As the sunlight fades, the landscape becomes its own spectacle. It dances across the rocky terrain, deepening in color until the mountains are bathed in a warm, fading glow. It’s a moment that asks nothing of you except attention.
And then, night...
The sky opens wide, unburdened by the city’s glow. The moon rises, full, generous, and luminous, casting a quiet brilliance over the valley. It’s the kind of light that doesn’t compete, but complements. Conversations soften, footsteps slow, and the sense of escape becomes complete.
