I cannot count the times I have sat down to watch the mystically entertaining show of Cirque Du Soleil on YouTube, hoping to have an opportunity to watch the circus live. Humorous choreography, acrobatic moves, people flying and lots of magical moments — all encompassed in one single show. What’s there not to like?
The Cirque du Soleil’s latest production, Bazzar, has come to town for the first time to offer us an unforgettable show full of exciting surprises, making it the highlight of my 2019 (so far).
The circus was quite a spectacular show, and one of the best I have seen in Oman in a very long time. Guests were promised an interactive show that’s built on true showmanship, beautifully crafted with a variety of elements that bring a breath of fresh air to the local cultural scene. As you’d guess, the experience exceeded my expectation, with tons of jaw-dropping moments that remind you of how legendary the Cirque Du Soleil truly is.
Some of the highlights include a team of acrobats, dancers, musicians and artists presenting various acts such as acro bike, fire, hula hoops, rope, and hairceau (which is a combination of hair hang and hoop at the same time), among other things. I was especially amazed by the hairography part where the lady was hanging through her hair. I had goosebumps all over. A must-watch for the whole family.
Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian entertainment company founded in 1984. It has been performing around the world for over 35 years and visited more than 60 countries. This eclectic lab of infinite creativity was originally a production that seeks to highlight the incredible abilities that the human body is capable of.
Book your ticket and watch the show, it’s unmissable. Bazzar is on until April 6, 2019. Tickets are available online at TixBox.com, and prices start at OMR 25.
