For Resort 2017, Bthaina was inspired by Omani culture and traditional Omani antique silver work. Fusing classic Arabic silhouettes with geometric embroidery and embellishment, creating a sophisticated collection with a vintage touch.
Representing today’s elegant woman, fabrics are soft and versatile with a rusted, earthy finish. Shapes are flowy and flexible with unique hand embroidered details creating a luxurious and feminine aesthetic.
Metallic gold wires and thread are intricately woven to recreate Omani derived patterns while custom made sequins add an exquisite finish. Dreamy hues make up the color palette in blush, cream, dusty blue and gold.
Combining traditional Omani handiwork with modern styles, the Resort 2017 collection is romantic and elegant, perfect for the Ramadan season.

Modern and feminine with a focus on exquisite detail, Bthaina fuses refined beauty with understated luxury. Based in Oman, Bthaina creates intricately hand embellished kaftans and abayas, taking inspiration from Eastern and Western elements. Luxurious, feminine and chic, Bthaina is the epitome of modest sophistication.
Buthaina Al Zadjali started her label in 2010, designing kaftans and abayas for a few select customers. After an overwhelmingly positive response, she opened her first boutique in 2011. Passionate about art and fashion, Buthaina loves pattern and colour and finding new ways to recreate traditional Omani techniques. Her dream is to grow the brand internationally and to create a one stop destination for fashion and art lovers.
In 2017, Bthaina underwent a rebranding to give the label a refreshed and modern aesthetic. The new logo is in a clean typography that comes in two colour way; white and charcoal or grey and pink. The spelling of the brand is the pronunciation of Buthaina’s name while the dots in the logo represent the Arabic spelling of Bthaina.
