Specialist travel publisher Lonely Planet has named Oman among top 10 destinations in the world to visit in 2022.
Oman has been ranked seventh in the list of countries that is topped by Cook Islands, while Norway came second, Mauritius ranked third, Belize fourth and Slovenia fifth. Egypt took the tenth place.
The Sultanate is lauded for its natural beauty, Bedouin values and a rich heritage.
