Oman’s First Lady, A’sayeeda AL Jalila Ahd AL Busaidi wore a bespoke Amal Al Raisi dress to mark the occasion of her birthday. The image released on Sayyida Ahd’s birthday on April 4th depicts the Sayyida wearing a handcrafted white and pink bespoke design by Omani fashion house, Amal Al Raisi.
Founder & Creative Director Amal Al Raisi says, ‘For many years I have been honored to receive the trust of A’sayeeda AL Jalila Ahd AL Busaidi to design bespoke pieces specially for her. Today I’m beyond proud to dress Sayyida Ahd in a bespoke Amal Al Raisi design for her birthday. The dress is a couture piece inspired by the traditional outfits of the Musandam Governorate with hand embroidery details referencing the beautiful apricot flowers in full bloom in the village of Wakan. Using 100% row silk fabric and fine tulle, the bespoke look took 120 working hours to create by a team of 11 experts’.
