Since opening their first Oman-based outlet in 2015, Illy Caffe has continued to serve its customers specialist coffee blends and gourmet foods, bringing a true taste of Italian lifestyle and culture to The Sultanate. The master franchise for Illy caffe in Oman, Jawad Sultan Restaurants, have vastly developed their presence in the market over recent years, with 2019 marking the launch of a second cafe based at the newly-opened Al Araimi Boulevard; a luxury shopping destination in Al Khoudh.
Last week, the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Oman, HE Federica Favi attended the grand opening of Illy Caffe to value the importance of quality Italian products worldwide. “Coffee is a key aspect of Italian lifestyle. Having an espresso means sharing ideas, doing business or simply enjoying life. This approach is shared by the Omani people, who can now get a new, authentic Italian experience in Muscat.”
The event welcomed honorary guests and members of the Italian-Omani communities from Oman. Together with an array of coffee and delicacies to sample, the afternoon presented business networking, barista art and live operatic performances by local opera singer Giuseppe Deligia.
