March is a special month at the Royal Opera House Muscat. During the sacred period of Ramadhan, three concerts have been scheduled to enhance the season of praise and reflection, to be performed in the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts.
Upcoming Performances
The concert series will begin with Sufi and Inshaad Praise with Mahmoud El Touhamy on Thursday, 13 March, with the curtain rising at 9.30pm. Mahmoud El Touhamy will present a collection of his own compositions alongside his ensemble of musicians.
On Thursday 20 March at 9.30pm, audiences are welcome to immerse themselves in the gentle beauty of Sufi and Inshaad Praise with Majdi Al Balushi and the Al Maali Group, followed by the Areej Ensemble.
The final concert in the series will take place on Monday 24 March at 9.30pm. Entitled Sufi and Inshaad Praise with Al Mara’shly Group, the concert will present a collection of poems, dedicated to and celebrating Ramadhan.
Audiences are invited to join together at the Royal Opera House of Muscial Arts to experience the rich connection of Sufi and Inshaad with the season. Enrich your Ramadhan with the special feeling of joy and peace which this praiseful music is known to inspire.
