Day 1: Arrival and Katara Cultural Village
Our adventure began with a warm welcome at Hamad International Airport, followed by check-in at the luxurious Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, an oasis of comfort and elegance.
As the evening set in, we explored the iconic Katara Cultural Village, a treasure trove of Qatari heritage and global artistry. The grand Katara Amphitheater and 21 High Street’s luxury offerings dazzled, while the Qatar International Art Festival painted vivid cultural narratives. Dinner at Bayt El Tallah introduced us to Qatari gastronomy with its delectable traditional flavors served against a backdrop of Katara’s enchanting ambiance.
Day 2: Ras Brouq and Disney on Ice
A morning drive to Ras Brouq unveiled Qatar’s natural beauty and a serene escape from the city. We participated in enriching tea and coffee workshops, immersing ourselves in the art of Qatari hospitality. Lunch at Qissa, a culinary gem nestled in Ras Brouq, offered a delightful fusion of flavors.
After some relaxation back at the hotel, the evening sparkled with the magic of Disney on Ice at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena. Post-show, a lively stroll through West Walk and dinner at Sasso capped the day with Italian-inspired charm.
Day 3: Souq Waqif, Msheireb, and Lusail
Doha’s vibrant soul came alive as we wandered through the bustling Souq Waqif, a maze of alleys brimming with spices, textiles, and artisan crafts. A traditional lunch at Damasca added to the cultural immersion.
The afternoon brought us to the avant-garde Msheireb Downtown Doha, where the futuristic Doha Design District harmonized with historical landmarks like M7 and Al Kahraba Street. At Qinwan, we savored exquisite coffee and desserts before touring Lusail, a shining example of Qatar’s visionary urban planning.
As night fell, we visited the opulent Pearl and Gewan Island, followed by a splendid dinner at Em Sherif on Maha Island, an epitome of fine Levantine cuisine.
Day 4: National Museum of Qatar and Mina District
Our final day began with a guided tour of the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ). Its stunning architecture and engaging exhibits offered a profound narrative of Qatar’s history and aspirations.
A leisurely visit to the charming Mina District was the perfect segue to a farewell lunch at Belhambar, where culinary artistry met serene coastal views.
