Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer of Amouage, together with @heroineexperience, created ‘The Cloudway Ascension’: a journey into a dream world, where each visitor is guided to celestial fragrant heights. This sanctuary, bathed in soft light, features clouds that rise like steps towards a dream paradise. Each cloud, delicately gilded, sublimates Amouage’s iconic fragrances in a setting that evokes an ascent to another reality. In the midst of the clouds, a suspended staircase reveals the collection of Amouage’s precious creations, which seem to come straight from the sky.
This Petite Boutique is a tribute to the striking beauty of Oman’s off-the-beaten-track stairways: architectural wonders carved into the rugged terrain of mountains and wadis. These challenging pathways, such as the Sa’al Stairs near Muscat or the Jabal Stairway in Jabal Akhdar, are both physically demanding and deeply satisfying. The reward at the summit is priceless, whether it’s a peaceful plateau, a village seemingly frozen in time, or a unique vantage point to watch the sun rise or set over the horizon. These moments of tranquility and awe is what Renaud Salmon wanted to convey through the space.
