The New AQVA Spa and Wellness Centre
Those in search of a spoiling lakeside stay need look no further than Grand Hotel Fasano, which recently unveiled a complete renovation for its renowned AQVA Spa and Wellness Centre. Alongside its luxurious treatment rooms, the temple of well-being now offers an expansive indoor and outdoor swimming pool – connected via tunnel passage – hydromassage, sauna, Turkish baths, state-of-the-art gym and a serene spa garden on the lake.
A talented team of therapists provide a range of spoiling treatments that harness the restorative power of Sothys Paris products, and work in harmony with the stunning natural environment and rejuvenating qualities of the lake. These range from the 50-minute ‘1888 GHF’ signature treatment, a deep and soothing face and body massage using scented butters inspired by the property’s lakeside gardens, to the truly indulgent 140-minute ‘Soin Excellence Secrets de Sothys’, a top-to-toe pamper session comprising eleven distinct stages and eleven powerful formulas. These are complimented by a wide range of massages and facials designed to combat everything from dryness to inflammation, and a complete selection of nail and body treatments to leave clients polished and poised to enjoy their stay.
An enchanting temple of healing waters beside the quiet charm of Lake Garda, AQVA Spa and Wellness Centre at Grand Hotel Fasano promises to regenerate and restore in the most charming of settings.
Michelin-Starred Dining
Grand Hotel Fasano has long enjoyed a reputation as one of the finest gastronomic destinations in Northern Italy, with four distinct dining options overseen by the property’s two executive chefs, Michelin-starred Maurizio Bufi and highly renowned Pasquale Tozzi.
Internationally-acclaimed fine dining restaurant, Il Fagiano, was awarded a Michelin star in 2024 in recognition of an exquisite menu by Executive Chef Maurizio Bufi that combines the finest flavours and ingredients from Italy’s northern and southern regions. Diners can choose from a selection of indulgent tasting experiences with wine and cocktail pairings, or opt for the à la carte menu, with creative and surprising dishes utilising the finest locally sourced produce with an emphasis on sustainability. Stand out choices from the 2025 menu include Soqquadro pasta with roe deer, sprouts and truffle and Cartellata noodles with pike, smoked potato, capers and olives.
At Trattoria Il Pescatore, guests can savour breath-taking waterfront views while indulging in exquisite Mediterranean cuisine revisited in an international perspective by Executive Chef Pasquale Tozzi. Classic southern European flavours are fused with global influences across an à la carte menu and five-course tasting menu, with dishes including Lamb fillet with shiso, green beans and BBQ glazed ribs and Gunard with pak choi and parsley.
Magnolia restaurant provides an al-fresco lunchtime dining experience set beneath the delicate shade of 200-year-old Magnolia trees and serves a delicious array of Italian delicacies. Those in search of a light and perfectly-balanced option can opt for a bespoke salad – carefully prepared by the chef with the diner’s choice of protein, vegetables, topping and dressing, or select from a range of hors d’oeuvres, fresh fish or pasta of the day from the main menu.
Elsewhere, guests can enjoy laid-back all day dining, snacks, sweet treats and cocktails on a terrace overlooking the lake at La Terrazza, while Rama’s Lounge Bar awaits for an evening aperitivo. Under the expert guidance of head mixologist Rama Redzepi, each cocktail is a work of art to be appreciated, while the atmosphere evokes the immortal charm of the legendary bars of Havana and the vibrant energy of New York’s lounge bars.
