Every day, I’m driven by my quest for self-improvement. I believe in surpassing yesterday’s version of myself, and I’ve found that consistent daily progress is the key to achieving success.

– Tuna Tataki – A Sri Lankan twist on this dish featuring marinated tuna with Sri Lankan ‘Ambulthiyal’ sour gamboge and spice, paired with ‘achcharu’ pickled pineapple, mango, and papaya.
– Curry-flavored Green Gram & Spinach Soup.
– Poached Egg with Cinnamon-Smoked Roasted Coconut.
Where did your culinary journey begin?
My culinary journey commenced with the completion of a comprehensive three-year program in International All-round Cookery offered by the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (N.A.B.), where my passion for cooking took root.
If your menu were a storybook, what kind of story would it tell?
My menu tells the adventurous tale of blending diverse flavors with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, seafood, and meat. It narrates the evolution of different flavors, weaving the threads of Sri Lankan cuisine into a larger narrative.
What’s your personal favorite dish on the menu?
I have a soft spot for our local crustaceans – slipper lobster, sea crab, or prawns, flash-fried in a curry leaf and pepper sauce.
Has cooking always been your passion?
My passion as a chef springs from a deep love for our local flavors and the art of fusing them with international influences. I’ve always been intrigued by the history of various cuisines and how they harmoniously blend with our native culinary traditions.
