Bespoke luxury jewelry brand OUSHK unveiled its fifth collection, ‘Halo’. Drawing inspiration from the moon and its magnificent halo, the collection is a striking result. The fusion between classic and modern, the label’s distinguished style, is unmistakable in this collection. It features just over 10 jewelry pieces comprised of necklaces, rings, earpieces and bracelets in 18-Karat gold and brilliant cut diamonds and for the first time, has introduced pearls.
All the jewelry pieces showcase an elegantly curved silhouette in reflective gold carried by a lustrous pearl, an expression of the jeweler’s refined perspective.
Omani based jewelry designer and founder, Areej Al-Saleh describes ‘Halo’ as an enchanting and magnetic collection, made with exacting precision. “I really wanted to create a collection with peals. I’ve loved them since I was a young girl. As a woman today, I can tell you that like pearls, the moon has been my constant companion,” says Al-Saleh. “It reminds me that we continue to change and that is a reflection of our growth”.
She added, “Like the moon, we change in color, shape and size. We may feel shy and incomplete at times or bright and breathtaking in full glory. We are reminded of a frequently noted saying, we ourselves must go phases of emptiness to feel full again.”
Halo comes following the successful launch of OUSHK’s long standing collections entitled “XO” (2020), Past Forward (2021), Lullaby (2021) and Locks of Love (2022). All OUSHK jewelry is made to order and can be customized to create a completely personal look.
