Haagen Dazs is one of my favourite brands of ice cream and I was ecstatic when they asked me to try out their newly launched kids’ menu.
I am really glad that they’ve considered preferences of kids in their latest offerings. The Les Mini’s Menu comes as a colouring book and kids get a free crayon pack too. I was more overjoyed to see this than my kids as I’ve never let my inner child go yet
The menu features a laughing panda priced at OMR1.9, which has a muffin of your choice topped with a v scoop of vanilla ice cream and decorated with chocolate and strawberries.
It also features a butterfly waffle priced at OMR1.9 as well, a warm waffle topped with a scoop of ‘strawberries and cream’ ice cream and decorated with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate.
A smiley waffle priced at OMR2.5 was also on display and offers a crunchy waffle topped with a scoop of mango and raspberry ice cream, kiwi fruit, strawberry and whipped cream, sprinkled with almonds flakes.
As a special addition, the ice cream giant serves ‘crepe on a plate’ priced OMR1.9, a crunchy wafer wrapped in a tasty crepe with one scoop of Belgian chocolate with strawberry coulis drizzles is what a crepe on a plate is.
I tried the Laughing Panda and the ‘crepe on a plate’. Both were absolutely delicious. As I was indulging in the kids’ menu, my children opted for an adult menu. My daughters tried the signature Lava Delight and the Brownie explosion.
The Lava Delight priced OMR4.9RO is a quintessential chocolate lava cake adorned with crunchy chocolate pearls and paired with a scoop of Belgian chocolate and banana chocolate brownie ice cream. Chocolate sauce, crunchy granola and whipped cream complement this beauty on the side. Tasted heavenly.
The brownie explosion is a trio of Belgian chocolate, cookie dough chip and vanilla caramel brownie ice cream, served alongside a soft brownie covered in caramelised almond nibs and topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Priced at OMR4.9 as well. Another decadent dessert from Haagen Dazs.
Haagen Dazs at Oman Avenues Mall is an ice cream heaven for lovers of this fluffy dessert. Their flavours are a class apart, especially their Belgian chocolate that makes me happy whenever I’m having a bad day. The staff is adorable and so very kind. I strongly recommend you visit this place, that is if you haven’t already.
