More than 800 visitors descended to Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC on November 1, for the first installment of the monthly street food series ‘Feastival’. The plastic-free event brought together foodies in the name of reasonably priced gourmet food. The street food series will run the first Friday of every month, so don’t fret if you missed the exciting affair.
Serving eats from around the world, Feastival is an ideal setting for indecisive foodies like me who struggle to pick just one restaurant to dine at. As I’ve recently embraced the street food trend, I decided to drop by for an evening immersed in mouth-watering aromas. And soon I found myself drooling over some perfectly seasoned prawns and a popular North Indian delicacy ‘panipuri’ — a deep-fried round crepe filled with a tangy sauce. Although there were many standouts, the highlight of the evening was without a doubt the indulgent Dutch Stroopwafels.
Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC’s Feastival allows you to order, eat, and unwind, all in that very order. So mark December 6th on your calendars, for another evening of family fun under the twinkling stars, providing you with a great excuse to avoid all those pending work emails.
