There is a fantastic line up of events for residents and visitors this November, with Dubai set to welcome world-class international performances for live music fans across the city. Kicking off November’s jam-packed calendar of events are India’s superstar celebrities, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez and more who will be taking over the Coca-Cola Arena on 8 November 2019 for Da-Bangg: The Tour Reloaded. The Arena will also welcome one of India’s greatest musicians; multi-award winning producer, composer and singer, AR Rahman, promising a legendary performance with Benny Dayal, Javed Ali, Swetha Mohan, Jonita Gandhi, Andrea Jeremiah, Ranjit Barot, Haricharan Sheshadri and Alphons Joseph playing on 15 November 2019. The Coca-Cola Arena will also host Why Not! Mazzika, the musical extension of Why Not! Yolo on 22 November 2019, uniting some of Egypt’s favourite musical stars on one stage, including Cairokee, Sharmoofers and Massar Egbari, Mahmoud El Esseily, H.O.H and Disco Misr.
For a glimpse into Africa’s diverse musical landscape, the One Africa Music Fest is returning after a successful first season with a thrilling line-up of seventeen live acts including Wizkidand Ethiopia’s Betty G for a night of Afrobeats, R&B, pop and rap at Dubai Festival Arena on 15 November 2019.
Continuing the line-up of exciting events throughout the month, mid-80s Scottish pop-rock band Deacon Blue will perform on stage at the Irish Village on 14 November 2019 as they take their fans on a trip down memory lane with nostalgic tracks including ‘Real Gone Kid’ and ‘Chocolate Girl’. November will also welcome one of the world’s hottest pop sensations, Brit and Grammy award-winning Dua Lipa for a sensational performance at The Pointe on 15 November 2019.
If that’s not enough to keep you busy, Dubai Opera is set to welcome the award-winning singer-songwriter, Michael Rosenberg, better known as Passenger, on 20 November 2019 as he brings his unique indie rock-meets-folk melodies to the stage. The Dubai Opera stage will also host musician, composer and pianist Guy Manoukian for the second time after a sold-out show in 2018, with the Lebanese-Armenian artist set to take his fans through a repertoire of all-time classics and newer compositions on 28 November 2019.
The city is setting the stage to mark the return of one of Pakistan’s most famous rock bands Junoon for a second performance this year at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on 29 November 2019. Hailed as ‘the U2 of South Asia’ by the New York Times, the trio are an inspiration to a countless number of emerging bands.
