The Trussardi Spring/Summer 2019 is inspired by an ideal trip between Nevada, Las Vegas and Coachella.
In Nevada, explorer field jackets have a used effect, while geometric patterns are formed by stylised desert flowers. While travelling through Area 51, the iconic greyhound wears a space helmet, becoming a recurring element in the collection. Dresses and jackets are fluid, practical and soft, while the colour palette is characterised by powder tones.
In Las Vegas, the collection becomes vibrant and pop thanks to sequins with a metallic effect, neon glam and shiny fabrics. Eco-leather jackets with studs, fluorescent details, star embroidery and gleaming colours are the symbols of this inspiration, while the phrase “Let’s Dance” is all over sweatshirts and t-shirts, as an invitation to have fun.
At the Coachella Music Festival, dresses are fluids, colours are pale, and fabrics are lightened up. Gipsy prints fuse with coloured greyhounds, laces, muslins, and poplin for a contemporary and modern result.
Denim is the trusted companion throughout the whole journey: in Nevada is mixed with nylon; in Las Vegas is fierce and bold thanks to stars-shaped fretworks; at Coachella is spray-painted for a tye-dye effect. Stylised greyhounds in contrasting colours frame jeans’ pockets, both in the slim and over versions. Maxi dresses and long skirts are paired with gilets, for a woman that loves to travel with style.
Perfectly aligned with the clothing collection, accessories, such as bucket bags, shoppers, top handles, clutches, backpacks, and shoulder bags, are realised in canvas, denim and eco-leather, treated with the finest leather crafting techniques, pillars of Trussardi’s know-how.
