Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara welcomed Irish music band “The Clovers” for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. The long weekend of everything green kicked off with a special Irish Pub Sip & Savour on 14 March and ended with Irish Street Food Night at Sakalan on 17 March. With violin, banjo, guitar, accordion and authentic Irish tunes, along with a pair of beautiful traditional Irish dancers, The Clovers entertainment was another first for Salalah. Green food and drink, as well as festive décor and costumes, completed the ambience.
“Bringing in international special guests is a great way to help attract local residents,” said Victoria Benz, Director of Marketing Communications at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. “These types of events are important to our luxury guests who appreciate high-calibre entertainment and often look for that when choosing a hotel or even a destination.”
Past special guests at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara include Chef Manolo Masconi from Italy who wowed the crowd with his mouthwatering pizzas and dough tossing tricks; Stevie’s Oompah band, flown in from Munich for Oktoberfest; celebrity Chef Peter Lloyd, owner of London’s famous Sticky Mango restaurant who brought a special menu for Loy Krathong; and a live mariachi band with flamenco dancer who set the scene on fire for Cinco de Mayo.
