The Iconic fashion designer and creative director for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, has died in Paris after battling a short illness.
The legendary designer was one of the most influential and prolific figures in the fashion industry.
Known for sporting a signature look of ponytail, gloves and dark shades, the German-born designer was received heartfelt condolences and tributes from fellow fashion industry icons including the Italian designer Donatella Versace and Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Anna Wintour, among many others.
According to French media, Lagerfeld died on Tuesday morning after being admitted to a hospital the night before.
