This week the Sheraton Oman Hotel welcomed over 400 guests to attend the properties Annual Iftar Gathering marking the holy month of Ramadan. The event was attended by leading Corporate Companies, Government Institutions, Travel Agencies, Embassies and various persons of importance, with a lavish feast set amidst the finery of the Oman Ballroom.
The evening presented an array of Iftar and Suhoor offerings, all of which are available throughout Ramadan at the hotel’s Courtyard Restaurant and Terrace. Guests enjoyed a myriad of Middle Eastern specialties and beverages, including live cooking stations, traditional Hot and Cold Mezze, Slow Roasted Lamb Ouzi with Oriental Rice, Saudi Kabsa, Laban Immo, Kadinbudu Kofte and a delightful variety of Arabic sweets and desserts. The special evening was set to the backdrop of traditional melodies from a live Oud Player, with delicate sweets and tea to end the evening’s celebration.
