Or try your hand at traditional fishing: Baros offers Big Game Fishing and Fishing by Twilight with a Catch Your Own Dinner experience. Here you can learn the traditional Maldivian fishing method using a hand line with hand-tied lures, and have your catch prepared for dinner.
Baros Cuisine
The traditional local cuisine of Baros is based on three main ingredients – fish, coconuts and rice – and can be enjoyed anywhere on the island, as well as privately on a picturesque sandbank or on the alluring Piano Deck over the lagoon. Baros Underwater life
Baros is famous for its amazing underwater life. At the Dive Centre you can learn Scuba Diving and also participate in Eco Diving, while at the Marine Centre you can borrow snorkelling gear free of charge and join guided snorkelling excursions conducted by the resident Marine Biologist. Another exciting experience is Fluo Night Diving using lights and masks to view marine life emitting colourful bio-fluorescence.
