Regency Sealine Camp is an intimate luxury camp in the desert of Qatar. This marvelous set-up is at the world’s natural powder-white desert, surrounded by cerulean waters. Truly, a must on the bucket list!

About an hour from Doha’s city center, I arrived at the pristine, lavishly white Sealine Desert. I was greeted by the Resident Camp Manager, Mr. Hamdy Raheem Khallaf.

Three events remain special and memorable that happened at Regency Sealine Camp: The opening of the camp last 2015 April as we invited guests from across the gulf region, the successful and heart-warming wedding party at the beach side of our two Italian guest couple and the exclusive party of QUMRA (Doha Film Festival) where more than 250 famous actors where invited.

What activities can guests do when staying at the camp?

Guests can begin their adventure over the sand dunes of the gulf. Our expert tour guides can take them to dune bashing, quad biking, sand boarding, swimming in the blue sea, or camel riding.

Guest can also take part in outdoor activities such as beach volleyball, football, or choose to relax on the beach, by the soothing waters of the Gulf. In the evening, guests can enjoy a delicious Arabian meal under the stars and relax in Arabian-styled tents with traditional seating.

Tell us about the location and what makes it a tourist friendly luxury camp?

Regency Sealine Camp is located at the most protected area in Qatar at Sealine area, in the middle of the desert. With only one hour away from Doha city, the camp is a luxury escape for both Doha residents and visitors alike. It offers a unique chance to enjoy the desert and all of the adventure that can be had there whilst experiencing luxury and relaxation all-year-round. The camp can accommodate guests for leisure or business, small families or groups, and also caters to large-scale private events.

What are your suggested things to do when visiting in the desert?

There are a number of desert-centric activities you can engage in. Some of them include dune bashing, dune buggy, camel riding, and sand boarding.

What’s your favorite part of the camp?

Relaxing on the beach or gazeebo while relishing the tranquility of the desert, witnessing the desert sunrise and sunset, walking along the beach while enjoying the morning rays, and bonfire at the evening are my favourite parts of the camp.
