Fashion Exclusive UAE announces Amal Al Raisi’s participation at Paris Fashion Week. Amal Al Raisi presented her Spring/Summer 2018 collection on October 4th, 2017 at Plaza Athénée Hotel. After placing second at an awards ceremony held by the Islamic Fashion & Design Council at Torino Fashion Week in July, Amal Al Raisi was invited to Paris by Sommet International de la Mode to take part in the International Fashion Summit from 4th-5th October 2017.
The vision of the International Fashion Summit is to forge new alliances and build further collaborations to increase opportunities for 13 international designers that hail from Middle East, Asia, USA and Europe as they showcase their collections in Paris for the first time.

The Spring/Summer 2018 collection is inspired by the Sultan Qaboos Rose, which symbolizes peace, harmony and humanity. The rose was created as a tribute to his majesty, Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said for his contributions and support to international relations and human rights. The collection is all about sophisticated feminine silhouettes, delicate draping and intricate detailing. Referencing the beautiful colour of the Sultan Qaboos Rose, hues of rose, deco rose, rose gold and purple dove create an ethereal sensibility. Fabrics are delicate and versatile in metallic foiled georgette, pleated georgette, crepe and taffeta. Elegant silhouettes feature whimsical details in the form of capes, pleats, ruffles and fur pom poms.
