Copper, the newest urban-themed restaurant and TOTEM, Muscat’s favourite boutique, recently opened a new stunning concept store in Qurum (Mina Al Fahal) which combines two entireties under one roof: dining and fashion retail.Conceptualised & Developed by Urban Hospitality S&T, the integrated project is the first of its kind in Oman with a total area of 376 square meters, has been designed to provide a unique experience that eliminates the barrier between traditional shopping and casual dining.
The store features a blend of retro and industrial elements. Every minuet detail exudes an edgy, urban industrial-chic feel, from the stained concrete floor, the bold rustic wooden and steel furniture, to the vintage custom-designed motorbikes and bicycles. The chic/industrial decor continues throughout the space with a 4-meter mural of the Arabian Peninsula and a 27 – meter neon light twisting through Copper to TOTEM’s entrance bonding their relationship.
Copper’s aim is to raise the bar for Muscat’s casual dining sector when it comes to food, service and the overall ambient experience. “Our approach in the menu is artisan: using fresh & non-processed ingredients, taking into account local producers, organic, lactose and gluten free elements wherever possible.Additionally, by teaming up with TOTEM, we have created a chic urban destination not only for food, but also for hip fashion dwellers. We have created a welcoming, positive ambiance, with cool music and an amazing atmosphere.
