The Coolest Spot For Private Aviation: JETEX Dubai

With contemporary design, Dubai’s largest FBO offers 5-star hospitality that includes sleeping pods, a cigar lounge and a 50,000 sq.m ramp parking.

On a recent exclusive tour of the award-winnning Jetex FBO terminal, VIPs marveled at the amenities it provides private jet passengers, many that rival those of a five-star hotel. Founded in 2005 as flight support provider, Jetex has grown to a global luxury brand with a portfolio of services and a presence in more than 50 countries.

‘We’ve merged the high standard of service you find in the luxury hospitality industry with the necessities of the aviation industry’, said CEO and President Adel Mardini. ‘With this FBO terminal, we’ve set a new standard for the industry and inspired tremendous loyalty from our custumers’.

The 1,500 sq.-m Dubai FBO is the largest of the company’s many state-of-the facilities. It features several elegant lounges including spaces desiged with the cre in mind, a plase for them to relax and recharge.

Passengers can play on the grand piano, smoke cigar in the cigar lounge, relax in a room inspired by nature, or browse handbags, jewelry or gifts in one of the display cases. For business travelers, the terminal has a high-tech boardroom for meetings and a room equipped with nap pods for those who prefer a power nap.

Because time is the ultimate luxury, passengers and their luggage can move swiftly through immigration and 24-hour customs clearance and ride to their aircraft in a Rolls Royce.

“We have created a different experience for people who want to travel on their own schedules and want to skip the security and crowds of the commercial terminal. We know many of our clients by name. We know the names of their children, their pets,” said Mr. Mardini. “Celebrities, CEOs, royalty all come through this terminal and all appreciate what we’ve done here, what will continue to do for private aviation travel around the world.”

Jetex FBO was the first in the MENA region to achieve the international Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) accreditation and the safety 1st certification. Jetex recently signed an agreement with Wright Electric to install charging infrastructure for electric airplanes and co-produce the first electric Airplane for the MENA region.
