Amal Al Raisi Releases A ‘Proud to be Omani’ Campaign

A campaign created with the intent of encouraging the people of Oman to celebrate their beautiful country.

As a tribute to Oman, Amal Al Raisi brings forth ‘Proud to be Omani’, a campaign created with the intent of encouraging the people of Oman to celebrate their beautiful country.

Launching on Omani Women’s Day, the ‘Proud to be Omani’ campaign unites 12 successful women from Oman who have excelled in the fields of entrepreneurship, medicine, law, media and many more. Through exclusive videos created by Majestic Oman, the women share why they are proud to be Omani and show how their beloved country is the root to their success. For 2019, the campaign is supported by Sayyeda Basma Al Said, Sayyeda Maya Al Said, Sayyeda Hujjaija Al Said, Sayyeda Dr. Kawla Al Said, Maysa Al Hinai, Luaya Al Mamari, Sharifa Al Barami, Dr. Lamya Al Hajj, Faiza Al Mazroi, Reem Al Zadjali, Her Excellency Nashia Al Kharusi and Malak Al Shaibani.

Amal envisions her brand to act as a canvas that spreads a message about Oman through her designs allowing it to cross borders. “I always seek out ways in which I can promote Oman and what is has to offer and there’s no better way to do so than through the words of these inspirational women.” says Amal Al Raisi.

The campaign will be launched on social media followed by an intimate dinner at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel attended by Amal and the 2019 campaign supporters to commemorate the upcoming Omani national day. As a symbol of the campaign, Amal has designed tops that display #ProudtobeOmani and #ProudtocallOmanhome slogans which will be available at her boutique, Dar Al Aseel, MARKEETEX, The Courtyard by Mint and Coco and Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

With an aim to promote ‘Proud to be Omani’ all over Oman, Amal hopes that this campaign will encourage everyone who calls Oman home to share why they are proud to be an Omani using the hashtags #ProudtobeOmani and #ProudtocallOmanhome as a reminder to not take this beautiful country for granted.
