The Sheraton Oman will be offering a very unique Biryani experience this November, prepared by Specialist Biryani Guest Chef Narsimulu Yadav Bolshetty. From 16th – 21st November, guests can enjoy different kinds of Biryanis from all over India, including the distinct Thalassery biryani. The Thalassery biryani uses a unique, fragrant, small-grained, thin rice variety and unlike other biryanis it is not oily because of the dum process used for preparation. Together with it’s unique blend of spices, it’s hailed as one of the specialist biryanis celebrated for centuries and will be presented during Sheraton Oman Hotel’s week of Indian cuisine celebrations.
“I have a true passion for everything related to Biryani. Having enjoyed many festivals such as the Hyderabadi food festival and the Andhra Biryani festival, it is a delight to bring the authenticity of Indian cuisine to Oman, under the prestige of the Sheraton Oman Hotel” – Specialist Biryani Guest Chef Narsimulu Yadav Bolshetty.
Biryani Chef Narsimulu Yadav Bolshetty will prepare a lavish buffet of all-things-biryani to offer four varieties of biryani each night. For the Biryani experts, the following 16 variations will be presented across the week; Hyderabadi. Kashmiri, Awadhi, Tarkorma, Kafta, Andhra, Bombay, Thalassery, Mughlai, Nalli, Kolkata, Chettinad, Kutchi, Boti and Ambur Biryani.
