Grand Millennium Muscat recently opened Bahriyat restaurant; a seafood lover’s
Bahriyat, meaning the ‘fruits of the sea’, takes you on a gastronomical journey under the sea with a succulent selection of signature seafood delights that are straight from the heart of the Sea of Oman.
Hand-picked every morning from the fish market, by the restaurant’s connoisseur roster of chefs, led by executive chef Balveer Balkissoon, the delectable array of seafood brings to your palate the freshest flavours imaginable and an unforgettable one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Colours of the ocean adorn the chic interior, which is pleasantly accented by an impressive 12 seater ‘Captain’s Table’, that gets the head chef’s special bespoke menu and an exclusive service to go with it. From a sensational variety of seasonal favourites to signature dishes such as the Harees Lobster Soup or the Prawn Kebab, Bahriyat brings to Muscat a long awaited new sea-side styled dining extravaganza.
“We envisioned a seafood lover’s paradise when coming up with the menu and concept of Bahriyat.
“Since Oman has one of the best seafood options in the world, it only deemed fit for us to present a fine dining venue that focused on fresh fish and one that marks a traditional Omani fare. We believe that the restaurant will be a culinary attraction for local residents and international guests in the sultanate, who are interested in experiencing a one-of-a-kind dining experience,” said Martin Cramer, area general manager of Grand Millennium Muscat.
Whether it is a special dinner meeting, a wedding anniversary lavish treat or a dine out date with the family, Bahriyat is open for dinner every day from 6.30pm.
