Kargeen Caffe is a concept that came into reality, having a distinctive style of its own. Kargeen is the old Omani word for a little wooden cottage and the caffe lives up to its name in the truest sense of the world. Done up in wood and wrought iron and decorated with bright rugs, it blends traditional Eastern style with classical Western culture, creating a cozy, welcoming haven of tranquillity.
After careful research, planning and setting of stringent standards a dynamic couple, Jalil Al Asfoor and Hanna Haffadh, established the first Kargeen Caffe in August 1997 at Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos. In December 1998. A new Kargeen Caffe was opened at the Al Harthy complex a shopper’s paradise near Qurum city. Due to consistent demand and support of its clientele, February 1999 saw the opening of a third branch at City Plaza, a prime shopping mall in Al Khuwair. An elegant ambience with ethnic interiors, serving delectable homemade cuisine; take you back into living in vintage Omani culture.
